With all this rain (so depressing!) what do you think the chances of golf courses been closed tomorrow??

Also if courses do open will it be play as you lie, clean and drop or placing??

agreed very depressing indeed. i would say a lot of courses will unfortunatly be closed. if ya can find somewhere sand based you might be ok . i hope mine is open [monthly medal tomorrow] as regards placing all depends how much water its soaked up cant really say .

I was playing links golf today and the course had quite a lot of casual water. I'd say there won't be too many parkland courses open tomorrow.

Managed to get 6 holes in Woodbrook today before heading back in. Worst weather I've played in in years, could barely stand still with the wind not to mention having a soaking grip. The place will definitely be closed tomorrow.

Baltray junior scratch was abandoned, I managed 1 hole before frostbite started to take hold. Conditions were brutal!

Looking out the window I think we may as well cancel any thoughts of golf tomorrow, well definitely on the parkland course I play on especially as its giving heavy rain tonight

I wouldnt think it's all that bad!!! Hopefully the gods will be smiling and blown all the water away!!!

Up here in Wicklow, courses tend to be closed very quite easily!!! But you could get away with it pending on the drainage system that each course might consist of!!!

    Let us all pray!!!!

Not only could I get out and play 18 holes in glorious weather but I got a little burnt!!! Pity about the 32 points!
