    quick question . how long did it take you to drop from 20 to tenish and then how long from ten to below 5 ?:confused:

    From 20 down to 10, it took me from April 2006 to April 2007, mostly playing comps during summer holidays from school. Then it took me from April 2007 to August 2008 to get to 5.

    any chance we could get a handicap sticky? a place with some general info on adjustments etc, and a one-stop-shop for all questions? Just a thought cos its something i myself dont fully understand and it comes up here allot

    thats some shooting kid. so you should be on tour next year:Dwell done mate you must practice a lot. if i could take 3 off this year i would be delighted

    I was off 4 when I was 14, shot -3 in competition on my 15th birthday and today I'm 19 and off 4!!

    Idiotic...

    I went from 13 - 2 in about 18 months and was 4 months dropping from 9 - 2 when I was 16/17....

    Stopped playing for 7 years and off 6 now but playing quite erratically (Is being worked on by pro and a lot of practice)

    got 16 as my first handicap, got to 7 in 3 yrs...then 2 in another 3 yrs... but this was when i did nothing else but play golf. went off to college, jobs, life.. and didnt play more than 2/3 times a year for about 14 yrs so just started playing again regularly about 18 months ago and am heading for 2 shots back in that time.
