matchplay madness,clubs up for sale

Ill set the seen,im playing off 13,my opponent is off 22,9 shots to give,
went 4up after 7 holes life is good,went into a wobble shots came into play 2up turning for home life not to bad,lost the next 3 holes (air turning blue at this stage) life is heading for depression,went all square for the next 4 holes,life steading the ship,pulled all square on the 17th ,life fist pumping bring it on, 18th par 4 -disaster hit spinney on drive took 2 shots to clear ,he had shot on the hole ,I ended with a 6 lost, life is f***king his clubs over the next bridge he see's
so clubs for sale till next week at least,has any one got a similar story to cheer me up so i dont feel as bad,thanks for reading my little story/rant just had to tell someone:(:mad

meet your brother. played club matchplay last week me off 9.6 him off 14 full difference so im giving 4 shots. i got off to a flyer was 5 up after 6 took the foot off the gas taught i had it in the bag. boom after 9 he has pulled back 3 holes , im still not worried until he pulls level:eek: i steady the ship and go 2 up so im smiling again 14 15 16 are halved so 2 up 2 to go . he beats me fair and square on 17 . 18 is a par 3 straight into a strong wind ,a hole i allways do well on , he hits the shot of the day lands it 10 feet from the pin, i go out the back into a bunker ,out of the bunker to about 7 foot .he 2 puts for par . i miss the put by a milimeeter.so were back to the first sudden death [squeeky bum time] its a short par 4 ,he hits a lovely iorn down the middle and leaves about 100 in ,i decide in what i can only call a moment of maddnes haul out the big stick and crack one ,not a bad shot going well ,bounces hard left into water:mad:i drop take my third and put it to 10 feet i miss the put he taps in a 6 incher for par.game over .any way it was a great day great battle .lesson of the day ,when you have someone down dont feel sory for them ,finish them off:)

it happened to me last year i was playing off 16 and the guy i was playing was off 8. I was 7 up at one stage then he braught it back to even with two holes left he then won the 17 and was one up going down the last. He ended up beating me 1 up. That was the only time he was up in the hole match i couldnt belive it lol

I should off just finished him off instead of letting him back into the match. I played sum stuiped shots when i was 7 up like on a short par 4 with water around the green i hit a driver into the water and i should have just layed up. Sure i wont do that again in a match:D

M/Play is a great game.

I think fourball M/Play is even better.

You see 2 players who would have an avg 12 handicap.

First player hits one down the middle of the fairway. Next thing they say when you get the driver out and give it a good lash.

I think this is funny because this applies to good golfers but not 12 handicaps because they are not good enough to be saying they will get a par 4 in the middle of the fairway.

When up in M/Play the main aim is hitting fairways and greens not even on beside the hole just keep it on the short grass and I say you wont lose

oh i hear ya,thinking about it yesterday,some of the holes i played the course instead of the man which cost me but its good to see im not alone;)
