Got this gun yesterday and i am very impressed with it. The only feature that i can figure is the step up feature, when i adjust it from Normal to Step up and fire it sometimes does nothing. Can anyone tell me how i can use this gun to its full capacity. And also how to simply zero in a scope? Any help would be great

I had this gun for a while. The design of the hop up lets the nub go down too far, which doesn't leave enough space for the BB to go through on full hop up. Put the slider roughly 3/4 of the way towards hop up for maximum range. Also be careful of the allen screw at the back of the bolt. This comes loose and if it comes out, you lose the back of o your bolt, inc. cocking handle.

To zero in a scope, adjust the hop up, then fire at a target roughly 100 yards away. After you fire, adjust scope accordingly, eg. shot goes bottom left of target - adjust up and right.

I will do that now, is there much of a difference in the range from the normal mode?

I found there was quite a bit yeah. I found 3/4 the best but with this gun, just put the hop up on as high as you can without the BBs getting stuck.

Yeah i will keep testing it out anyway. And what size BBs do you suggest i use for this weapon? I have the White ones which came with the gun but i dont know the weight. then i have .12g which i had from years ago lol.

Well don't use the .12 anyway. Also, the ones you get with the gun are usually bad quality. I would use .25s.
