    I had to re install windows and now my " and @ are the wrong way round. I made sure the region setting is correct, had this problem before but cannot remeber how this was changed. Any ideas?

    Control Panel>Region & Language Settings, choose input settings and add English Irl to the input types, click on English (Irl) and make it default, then click English (USA) and choose remove, apply settings and all should be ok :)
