I feel sorry for the kids of today. They have only crappy cartoons compared to what was shown in the 80's Shows like Transformers , MASK , Jayce and the wheel warriors , He-Man etc. There is a Mutant turtles show alright but it's no where as good as the early 90's one.

My interest in this movie is based around 2 things. Megan Fox ( :D ) and action=winning combination

I can't wait to see it. I really enjoyed the 1st one. Yeah it was over the top and a bit silly, but thats the point!
I think the sequel will be a lot like the first one only bigger and louder! :D

My problem with the first one wasn't that it was silly or OTT, but that there simply was not enough Robots in it. For instance, first time we see Bumblebee about to go up against the police crusier deceptacon, it cuts away to Meagan Fox and Shia Le Buf messing around with that little phone guy. Worse, we get a build up to a Megatron and Optimus Prime face off and again, it cuts away without enough pay off, again. Too much off that. Too much human action, and not enough giant robots kicking the crap out of each other. Hopefully thre is some more robot action in the sequel.

By the looks of the trailer the Prime versus Megatron, Starscream and Blackout fight will be for all to see, like the Bonecrusher v Prime fight in the first one. That scene was all kinds of cool.

(apologies for the poor picture quality)

Yep, but so did Megatron. One of the trailers shows a bunch of Decepticons finding Megatron at teh bottom of the ocean. Im assuming they pick up Blackout too.

No those cartoons were crap as well, we were just too young and stupid to realise (or care).

Just doing the maths, but weren't you already something like 20y/o when the first Transformers show came out? Glad you liked the old cartoon anyway, no so sure about your admiration of the movies tho!
