Mascara: Maybelline Colossal VS Maxfactor False Lash Effect

which is better, maybelline colossal or maxfactor false lash effect ?

I bought Maybelline Colossal mascara last week and am really not sure about it, my eyelashes are really long (but quite thin), so it makes it very noticeable if a mascara is good on me or not.. And I have to say I was not overly impressed by the Colossal mascara, one layer wasnt enough nd any more and my eyelashes began to clump a bit..
Does anyone else think this ?

Is Maxfactor False Lash Effect any better ? I went into the shop planning to buy this one (after reading reviews on boards) but there was none there so I bought the Colossal...

Advice please..
Or recommend any other mascaras that are good for people with long, thin lashes

Haven't tried colossal, but have heard mixed reviews.
I have the max factor one and do think it's pretty good.

I also have the ysl false lash mascara which is great.

I bought the Colossol- waste of bloody money! I have long lashes and for years have been using Rimmel and my lashes look super long so decided to try a new mascara. I used it once and my lashes didn't look long or anything, never used it again.

What one do you use? I used to use the Rimmel one with the double end - loved it ! But then they discontinued it i think, couldn't find any of the other double ended ones that I liked as much..
So basically I need a mascara that gives a little length but mainly makes my eyelashes look thicker, not clumpy or stuck together or spider-leg like..
