Uk company accounts

    Can anyone tell me if its possible to get the company accounts of a limited UK company. I ask because on the Apprentice last night they were able to get yasmina's accounts for her restaurant (Which was a small LTD) I (along with yasmina) was under the impression that this would be private ?

    Yeah this website should help.

    Similar to our CRO in Ireland, just search for the company and you can purchase the annual returns and any other info available. It might be a private but they are obliged to submit limited financial details depending on size so you may not get a whole load of information but it's a start!

    Small companies are only obliged to file Abrided Accounts(Shortened version). This doesn't contain a profit and loss account....Only balance sheet and some notes to accounts.

    Yeah it's pretty worthless really.... and the balance sheet is an abridged one too at that!!
