    Hi there,

Was just wondering if anyone had gotten a visa for Vietnam in Beijing?? I'm heading there next week and I need to get a visa for Vietnam, there's an embassy for Vietnam in Beijing but I don't know if Irish nationals can get Visas there.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

I didn't get my visa when in Beijing. However, I got a visa on arrival in Vietnam by applying in advance through this website: http://www.myvietnamvisa.com/

OP the best thing to do is email the embassy as rules with visas can and do change often.

If its any help I got a Vietnamese visa back in 2002 from a Vietnamese´Third Consulate´( not an embassy but has the ability to issue tourist visas) way down in Kumming in southwest China before I crossed in Laos and eventually Vietnam. So going by that it is possible but like I said check it out first as rules can and do change.
