For my partner's birthday I am taking here away for the weekend and have booked her into a spa for tomorrow.
Has anyone any ideas on a couple of other little things I could do...have been debating flowers in the room when we get there but realistically they will probably be dead by the time we get home Sunday.
    Any advice?
    Thanks in advance

Oooh, a nice bottle of champers or wine chilling on your arrival in your room would be a nice touch if you drink :) Am sure if you ring hotel they could sort it!

I had to giggle. This is so so sweet, and then right in the middle of it is the man's logic shining through saying that the flowers would be dead by the time they get back heehee.

That's lovely. She's lucky to have a boyfriend like you. Icing on the cake - tell her she's beautiful and that's you're lucky to have her.

    Awww.

    Ok

this might sound a bit poofy but my partner did this for me once and its a tiny thing and i loved it.

Woke up one morning and there was a note on the pillow beside me... it simply said

    Dont ever change xxx

That sounds lovely OP, You could get roses and flake off the petals and sprinkle them on the bed they may last longer that way,

Champagne and strawberries?? We had that last night it was gorgeous and strawberries are in season!

Are you going out for dinner also?

you could write her a poem!

A few years ago I booked my gf and I into a hotel and had arranged for flowers to arrive before we checked in. While I was checking in, I asked them to bring them to the room in a few minutes. That gave me enough time to make sure I was shaving in the bathroom so she'd be presented with them in person, instead of just sitting on the bed or something like that. It's a small touch.
