Eircom Broadband upgrade problem

    Had my eircom broadband upgraded to 3mb this morning, used speedtest.net and I am getting the 3mb download so I assume that they are finished with it.

    Had my ps3 set up on the old 1mb connection and worked grand, connecting online on ps3 was ok and psn worked but now my downloads on the ps3 are pending after being restarted several times, internet settings cleared and re entered and I can't sign into the playstation network, is this temporary or is there something I need to do? Has anyone else ahd this problem before?

    Having this problem again, it just cannot obtain ip address even after resetting and clearing my settings... any ideas?

    It may be your firewall i know i changed to Eircom recently and had to open the ports, if you go to the eircom router homepage and click custom services there is a drop down menu select playstation network. Other than that ive no idea.
