As the title says, what would be a good race for a beginner?

I'm a male and have done some running in the past, but over the past three weeks I've taken it up again. Now I am by no means anywhere near good but I would like something to aim for.

There's a 5k on at Farmleigh in the Phoenix Park on July 5, alternatively there is the Irish Runner 5 Mile on July 18. That's assuming that you're in Dublin...

There's an 8k in Ballyhaunis on the 27th June and another 8k in Headford on 11th July, if they're any use to ya!

There is a 6k in kilcoole who are looking for a good turn out on the 26th of June might be one to look into and from what i know the course itself is nice one for a beginner to try test themselves
