Ive a Dell laptop, its a inspiron, the mains socket thingy has broken off and just wondering is there anywhere that can re-solder this on or repair it somehow? Its out of warranty so cant go to dell. Is it possible for a place to carry out such small soldering which is usually done by a robot originally? Any help appreciated, really dont want to have to buy a new one due to the hassle of losing/copying stuff over, etc... Plus my laptop has a class upgraded screen from new, is it possible to buy just a bottom of a laptop, like the base bit tthat I could attach my screen too?:(
