Great stuff - I had visions of me and my pals being the only under 40's there - we'd stand out a mile with our red-eyed UUULLLLAAAAAASSSS! :pac:

I can't wait - great childhood memories of the double album.
Same here...I got it off 'Santa' when I was 7 in 1977!

I wonder if the Richard Burton hologram is any good?

I've also capped a great documentary on the making of the original album with interviews with Herbie Flowers, et al. He said that all the session musicians working on it were offered a flat-rate or a share of a royalties, but they all voted for flat-rates and lost out on potentially earning millions over the years.

Well we were blown away by it, and I reckon most people were (standing ovation at the end) - apart from the 2 near us who left early - what the fuc did they expect it to be like?

I thought the sound was grand (near the front), but was surprised Justin Hayward didn't appear to sing the first "The chances of anything coming from Mars..."
He looks rough now too - a lot older than on the excerpt from the DVD I linked above

Richard Burton's head is fairly poor tbh - Think Max Headroom,
and the rest of the graphics could be better, but the music was class - really good guitar and bass, and the musician who plays Harp and Percussion is smokin' hot :pac:

i thought it was excellent, the vocals where a bit muffled in places as the music was a bit louder than it but that is easily forgetable. Great show, it was funny the Jennifer Ellison got the loudest cheers!

Effects where great, graphics a bit dated.......but that's all part of the charm of it.

I really enjoyed it! Had goosebumps at the opening but was also disappointed that Justin Hayward didn't appear on stage for The Eve of the War.

I thought Jennifer Ellison was pretty awful as Beth! Her voice didn't suit the roll at all. Alexis James was of course fantastic as the Artilleryman. He stole the show!

    I thought it was fantastic.
Justins ear monitor stopped working just before he was meant to go on stage.
We had a brill night, even though we were a mile away from the stage.
Got to meet Jeff Wayne as well, such a lovely bloke.
