Car Storage

I'm going to be collecting a 1975 car tonight. I was planning to have it stored in a garage during the wetter months of the year, but unfortunately, the person who has this garage got themselves another car and no longer has room for mine. Would it be adequate to store it under a tarp during winter, or is there a better alternative until i can find some garage space somewhere?

An outdoor carcoon is your next best option, but obviously you'll need a suitable spot away from curious eyes, wondering why you've a grounded zeppelin out front of your gaff.

They work well - keep the lining away from the bodywork, keep the car properly dry, and stand up to heavy winds fine (so far - touch wood!).

I'm out in Limerick County, storing it in Dublin wouldn't be ideal for me unfortunately.

I second the comments about the carcoon, I've put mine in it for for the winter months, keeps the car very dry, also charges the battery. I would advise against tarps for extended periods, they trap moisture under them.
