Right, IN cork Aer Lingus & KLM Codeshare the Cork-Amsterdam flights.

eg.... EI841 and KL3171 are the codes for this mornings Amsterdam - Cork Flight.

So how come ya cant buy a ticket for that flight on the KLM site? it comes up that there are no flights to that destination???

Air France/KLM are part of the Skyteam Alliance. As you say no flights ORK-AMS or mention of Aer Lingus.

It appears Aer Lingus are code sharing with Oneworld, Star and Skyteam. This has come up before when a chap could not book a United codeshare with Aer Lingus.

I do not know what the outcome was.

You cant book ORK-AMS-ORK on the KL website, this codeshare agreement is for interling passengers only, ie passengers flying ORK-AMS-HKG. Simple as that!

Exactly! It's all down to how the ticketing agreement is set up between the two airlines and what the airline regulator allowed each airlines to sell. Which is still mad because of the Open Skies era imho...

    Maybe one day!
