I don't know if there are plans for a saturday spin, but if there are then I myself would only be out for a short enough one.

If, however, the more time-rich amongst us would prefer a shortish spin tomorrow around 10/11 (earlier if you prefer, I am easy) to get the legs moving before the wicklow 200. It would be a relaxed pace and probably about the 60km mark.

    Reply if interested.

Dont want to hijack, but your mad, pure mad.
I'm not going to even cycle to work tomorrow - conserve all the energy that has been building up in my energy fat stores.

I'm also not interested, since I must work, but I'd like to propose a ban on advertising these midweek spins

I'd do it if I didn't have to work. I find I don't go as well if I'm too long off the bike.

Meh, I haven't been out on the bike since monday and I don't like to be stagnant.

Ok, going solo again...better bring the tunes.

I collected my bike last night from a service and took a spin out to near Blessington (Brittas), then came back. Only about 35km, but I'm srry I did. Felt very sluggish cycling to work this morning. Legs feel heavy (but that could be from the fat stores).

When I see you struggling out of Enniskerry, I'll give you a little push up the hill.

I was planning a spin tomorrow afternoon. Maybe 1.30 or 2 if that's not too late for you?

I know the feeling. I'm actually not a big talker on spins so I sometimes get a bit worried that when I head out with someone for the first time I will seem like an asshole because I will just sit there and pedal.

Internet Dirk is far more chatty than the real thing :)

    Any idea of route Aidan?

I got wupped in a brief commuter race on Tuesday evening going up the hill to Cornmarket.

He was a total fred too:mad:

I blamed the exertion of the Swords CC tour last Sunday and decided to save my fat stores legs for next Sunday. Still commuting but taking it handy. An hour or so tomorrow would be nice but I have to work, enjoy the spin guys.

Sorry dirk - have just been talked in to racing on saturday so I'm not gonna head out tomorrow after all.

I usually head out monday, tuesday and friday at around 11am though, so if you're around midweek again let me know.

No worries Aidan, it's a better excuse than my "I decided not to get out of bed" which is fast becoming my favourite.

Yeah we should definitely head out for a midweek spin, like I said I am long on time.

    Yeah 10 am it is.

I don't mind, Sally Gap or was even thinking maybe out to Howth. Whereabouts are you coming from?

Sounds good. Meet at the start of the cycle track in Clontarf for 10:30 am?

We can take it handy, go up once and then decide about doing a few more.
