    Well Folks,

I'm a runner who fancys doin a triathalon. Run 3k to 10k races. Missed alot of running training in last month and just fancy a change. My knowledge of triathalons is zero. All I know is that there is short, meduim and long. Think I would rather middle. Fancy doing one towards end of July, maybe the 'Beast of the East' or the Galway Triathalon.

Basically what im wondering is how I should train for the swimming and cycling part. I'd probably aim to run 3/4 times a week, cycle twice (or start to cycle to and from work maybe) and swim 1/2 times a week.

Any advice would be hughly appriacated for this out n out novice.

    Cheers
