Hey all, i've a Bendix Tricity AW1053W thats stopped working.

Whenever the drum fills with water, just as its about to start heating, the breaker panel trips.

Someone told me its the heating element which needs replaced.

Asking in the local shop, they said a heating element of 1950 Watts would be enough to replace the 2500 Watts element already in it.

What do you think? will the machine still function properly?

It could be, but you really need to get someone to have a look at it and make sure it is that problem, better safe than sorry.

the guy who said he'd fix it wanted €130.
i sourced the same 2500W heating element for €30 and machine is now working again :D
