PC dead need help

    my PC died on me today and i need help figuring out whats gone wrong.
    went to turn on my pc today and wouldnt boot,not getting any display on
    my screen,no power to my keyboard,mouse or headset(there's usually a blue light on each of them when i hit the power button on my pc).there is power going to the case fans,HD,gpu ,heatsink and the power and reset led's on the mobo.any ideas what could be wrong?i'm guessing mobo.is there anything i could do apart fom replacing it?

    not necessarily the mother board. My first thought wud be that the power supply is gone. Id look into that first!

    Well since fans coming on etc, good chance PSU is ok.

    I'd open it up, and take out the ram and re sit it - you'd be surprized how often these come loose. Also the graphics card is another one - take it out and slot it back in.

    First things to do anyways.

    If the power supply is actually running you should be able to hear it & feel air from its fan. If this is the case then im wrong about the powersupply but i had to replace my own one a few years back because my system wouldnt boot and i had similar situation to as in the lights being on etc etc....

    Also as other poster said re-seat the components + cables

    Had this happen recently to me. Was definately the Motherboard.
