Hi, I got accepted to NUI Maynooth as a mature student but I was advised to do the two week maths refresher course that is run during the summer. Has anyone here done this before and does anyone have any idea usually when it is on? Thanks in advance.

You'll be fine. Its mostly about showing you new technology like computers and calculators. They are kinda like abacus but can do more stuff.

I found out that the course is going to be starting on the 13th of July, unfortunately I still dont know what time. I'm heading to the Bruce Springsteen concert on the Sunday night (the 12th) and staying in Dublin does anyone know if theres a bus going from Dublin to Maynooth I've been on the bus eireann website and there seems to be none. I need to get from Dublin to Maynooth for before 9 (I'd say course starts at 9?)

You're better off getting the train tbh. It's only a 10 minute walk to north campus from the station, five minutes if you're on south campus.

If you what to get bus its goes from outside Supermax near Westmoreland Street. Dublin Bus number 66 and it costs €2.20 I think.

But if I was traveling I would get the train it costs €3.30 from Connolly.

I'd definitely get the train from Connolly if you want to be there on time.

There is an express train that leaves Connolly at 08:08 and gets to Maynooth at 08:30,this would be your best bet to get there on time.
