camping on skelligs

    Hiya,
    Travveling to the skelligs next weekend and was wondering if anyone knows if its ok to camp on the island overnight?
    Any help is appreciated.

    Don't know, but I doubt it.
    OPW website doesn't mention anything about it, but it does say: "This is a particularly vulnerable site and visitors are therefore asked to co-operate with our efforts to protect this monument", and states that there are no toilet facilities.

    Not a hope in hell. Firstly because its just not allowed and secondly because its just not safe enough.

    Camp in Mannix Point, best campsite I know of and only a short drive to Portmagee and gateway to the Skelligs.
