I cant say that I've seen any specific regional reports myself, and not being a Tipp listener, I cant comment on the alleged brilliance of the mysterious Mr B, but from my experience with JNLR's in the past , the figures are so pliable that everyone seems to be able to manipulate the results so as to announce themselves number one in some category...

This time last year there were several shows proclaiming themselves to be "Irelands Number 1... whatever".

The vast majority of the listening public care little for industry survey results, and Self congratulatory messages like that make the JNLR's little more than the radio equivalent of 'Everyone gets a medal' day to those not in the industry.
