haha if you read the blurb on them they are worn by both Nani and Ronaldo. Both renowned for their srcumaging and rucking techniques.

Look at the tiny studs, how on earth are you supposed to rake the flesh of a man's back with those???

Those Canterbury ones that Morf has linked to are good, but I found that the Canterbury boots don't hold up too well. I wore Kooga G1s last season and they're probably the best value out there. They're fairly light, but offer good protection to the toe area (very important!). http://www.prodirectrugby.com/prodinfo.asp?PID=PDR-002-069-001&DEPT=2&BRAND=69 Don't be put off by the white ones in the link, they do come in black too!

You can put proper rugby studs in dem, it worked for our 2nd row, and no i wouldnt be put off by white.

Them g1s look good in red too

Adidas 9-15s, best boot i ever bought, and they hold up well in the front row, despite being a nice and light boot

Used to have nine15s, by far best boot of all time, dont like the new ones though.

Does no one wear ankle high boots any more? With a proper toe cap?

I had Addidas ones a few seasons ago. Really uncomfortable, particularly when the going is heavy.

One of my team mates still wears them, but he's a Tipp man...

I played in the front row for a couple of years in school, but ended up too long and light. Loved the protection and support they gave over regular boots, but then I didn't move that quickly anyway.

this is the thing, if you're anyway mobile ankle high boots are just a pain in the arse, im not even sure if anyone makes them anymore.

I didn't think they went up that far, unless your legs are very short...
