Car charger for sony vaio laptop

    Lads can someone point me in the right direction.
    Im lookin to purchase a car charger for my sony vaio laptop.
    Its a 19.5 v 4.7 a.

    Im not having much luck anywhere. I presume those maplin universals are no good cause they dont do .5v
    On the maplin site it says its not reccomended to use one. Would it just not work , or would i do damage to my laptop??

    Or would it work.??I wouldnt be playing movies or anything like that

    What about buying a power converter that converts the cigarette lighter to a regular electrical outlet. Then you could just plug in your regular laptop charger, although I imagine you would want to ensure that surge protection was either built into the converter or otherwise present...
