Has anyone bought flyscreens for their windows? If so where and what kind of price were they?

Acme blinds are selling them right now but I was floored to discover that they would cost over €100 for 1 small windows (they only cover the section of the window that opens rather than the full window).
The ones they are selling look like this:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Window-Fixed-Light-Weight-Screen/dp/B00289UE7U/ref=sr_1_71?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1244050649&sr=1-71

I'd prefer get these kind rather than the net ones as my neighbours have ALOT of very domesticated cats and if any of my windows are open more than a crack, a cat will come through it at some stage in the day...upstairs and downstairs!I hate cats :(
If anyone has found them cheaper I'd be delighted to hear about it. Thanks!:)

I got some in a pound store they are made of netting and you cut to fit the window, and stick a thin strip of velcro around the window frame and attach the netting to that.
I think they were €3-5 euro or so. and work well.
They aren't to everyones taste but they do stop flies.

We got lovely flyscreens for our windows and our back door and they are wonderful. They were fitted by a company based in Kildare and they have offices in Sligo and Galway as well. The small window screens cost 59e each - the big one was 69e and the door cost 369e. The door is fitted on the outside and opens out. Cost was plus vat and included the fitting as well.

    Hope this helps
