DoW2 wont launch

    So okay, I've installed Steam, set up an account, the game is installed on to Steam. now when I click 'launch game' it tells me that the game is unavailable and 'please try again later'.
    Anyone know what's hoing on? (and for the record I am connected to teh internet)

    edit: Apparently Steam is downloading an update in the background (taking its sweet time). i'll wait 'til it's done and see how it goes)

    steam sucks, its horribly annoying when it auto patches
