I was doing ordinary english today, the personal writing for 60 marks. The question said I had to include the sentence "You should have seen the look on his face" But knowing me, I forgot about it XD

How many marks will I lose in this occasion?

If anyone knows, i would appreciate it =]

Technically you could get 0 marks because you didn't answer the task correctly. You could probably get a few marks but I wouldnt expect much.

Aslong as you labelled the questions I don't think you'll get 0 marks at pass. But it will be costly.

The EXACT same thing happened to me today on the HL paper.
My teacher told me not to worry, saying that if its closely related to the line, the can't dock you many marks.

Looking at the 2007 marking scheme it says :

"" The day started the same as any other, nobody could have known that by evening ..." Continue this story.
Candidates need not include the prompt sentence. Nevertheless, the story written should be clearly related to the prompt."

I can't imagine them docking more than 10 marks, 15 maybe

Did it not say inspired by or containing the line ''whatever'' if it did you'll be fine.. I'm sure you'll be fine anyway.

Yeah, I remember doing that same question today and I remember the question saying "You MUST include..." the phrase, fortunately I did include it!:)

You'll definitely lose some marks but maybe it'll depend on who's correcting you're paper, let's just hope you did include the phrase.

Ah well, the marker might be sound, and won't dock you that much.

I chose the one about My Dream Job. I was a FBI agent of course
