Are you a good, creative guitarist with at least 15 years of experience under the belt?

Fed up with cover bands playing Mr Brightside and Galway Girl?

Too intelligent to play blues? Too serious for heavy metal? Wanna play originals?

If your answer is yes, you may be the guitarist I'm looking for. If you like Vernon Reid's playing style that's even better.

I'm a 35 year old bassist, have been playing for 18 years. I have loads of material written. You may check some of it at www.myspace.com/andysalm

I'm looking for a good guitarist; your nationality, color of your skin, gender and age are irrevelant.

PM me your phone number if you're interested.

I'm in Cork. Nothing keeps me here though, I can relocate. I'm far away from home anyway. ;)

I'm serious about it and the material is quite good, I believe. Most of it is written down in music notation. I love guitar solos and I like playing chords on bass, so there's loads of room for a guitarist to show off.

Hey, don't know if you got sorted after...but there's a great guitarist here in Waterford that was taught by Vernon Reid. Give me a shout if you are still looking, and I'll see if he's interested.

Hi andy just wanted to say I checked out your myspace and your an awesome bass player, it's so good to hear someone playing jazz and such a refined bass style these days. (Although I must disagree about metal not being serious! it takes serious work to play metal, well the neoclassical, trash and and 80's hair and spandex variety at least!)
Bassists are a dime a dozen but your the real deal! If I wasnt so engaged in my own work I would definatly want to Jam with you. Best of luck man,

    Too intelligent to play blues?

    Yup... ;)

No offence to all the blues players (they should be shot on the spot anyway :D), but music has a bit more to offer in the 21st century, me thinks.

Well, methinks, if you're trying to intellectualize a creative art form such as music, then you just haven't 'got' it. No matter what century you're in...
    :P

    Yes yes yes...

I also don't have a soul, and clearly don't know nothing about music
