I just got accepted into the Masters in Biomedical Science in Coleraine specialising in Haematology and transfusion science however my primary degree was in biotechnology so they have informed me that I need to get up to 2nd year honours level on my own in Haematology to be eligibible for this course.I have been given a few texts to read but real lecture notes would be great. So I was wondering if any DIT Biomedical science students could give their haematology notes from up to 3rd year to help me on my way and give me some structure. Thanks for your help :o

Don't have DIT second year notes, and my CIT notes are defo not in any sort of reasonable condition, but I would recommend Hoffbrand's essentials of haematology as an excellent textbook to start out. It's not great for practical techniques but it's good for the theory.

We were recommended to get our hands on Dacie and Lewis, Practical Haematology (it's quite expensive, so if you have access to a library with it, that's your best bet, it was recommended in fourth year)
