Stopping Pub/Dog eating Plants

Hi A friend of mine has 14 week old Lab Pub, Is there anything out there that would prevent her chewing up plants and flowers.its not ahuge issue but do any of those spays things you see in Pet Stores and DIY places work. Thanks
