    Yes, excellent analysis done by an amateur and so very soon after the accident as well. Very interesting to read the comments by various pilots and engineers about normal operating procedures regarding flying around severe storms normally and how this flight may have behaved differently for some reason.

    Not good for aircraft designers if severe weather can be shown to be the reason for an advanced passenger jet to break up in mid-air. A catastrophic combination of hail, lightning and wind gusts might just have been the cause. As one of the comments suggested, Airbus/Air France must be praying for bomb residue to show up on the recovered debris.
