Hi, stag in Galway on 4th July. Just wondering if anything on in Galway for 4th July, any good bands or events taking place that weekend as can't seem to find anything posted online. Also for events looking to do something close to galway city as everything else karting/surfing/paintballing seems to be an hour's drive away is there anything in close proximity to galway city that could be a good activity for a sat morning?

Maybe try this place in Knocknacarra, http://www.pureskill.ie/, opened recently could be along the lines of what you're looking for.

Hi all, thanks vm for the suggestions, but as turns out the final game of the lions tour is now on sat the 4th July at 3 bells, so can anyone suggest a good place to watch it? Big Screen? Possibly does food aswell? Also would it be possible to ring and resevere a section in this pub do you think? And sure while i'm at it, I heard you can ring and book a section in Halo, but then also heard they don't let in hens or stags? Anyone any recent experience with them , are they letting in hens/stags now ? Muchos apreciatos! :-)
