    I was doing some research for work and saw this.The spinning globe on this web page

    I thought to myself thats the coolest bit of flash programming (or whatever it is) I have ever seen.

    The way the images of the countries distort as the go round back is awesome IMO.

    not the image itself, but the way its done. how is that achieved?

    is each frame individualy drawn?

    Go to google and type in

    Spinning Globe Tutorial

    It can be done really easily in Illustrator, or photoshop, or Flash, or After Effects, and possibly a number of applications besides these too.
