    the farm is crawling with rabbits here,was looking at the silage fields this evening and all along the hedges it was i like a lawn eaten by the little vermins! anyone have the same problem?is the mixamotosis still around 2 keep the little buggers under control.:confused:

    They go through a population explosion every couple of years- this year is a boom year. You can get the gun club out if you like- but its probably only a drop in the ocean. Predators- such as foxes, are also having a boom year- its a matter of time before equilibrium is set again- probably this autumn/winter. Other forums on the internet are pushing large industrial strength sonic deterents at farmers- I have no idea how effective they are. Its a pity rabbit meat has fallen out of fashion.......

    A lot of hunters still eat them and the older generation. I made an old man very happy with some 'fresh rabbit' couple of weeks back

    Ah not the myxomatosis again. A cruel way to die.
    We have a few rabits back again too....glad to see them to be honest. A few foxes again too....good to get rid of cows "after-births". Nature will strike it's balance.
