    Hi All,

We just purchased a Panasonic TX-P42X10B in Currys Belfast yesterday and after trying both Autosetup and manual tune I am only recieving CH4, E4 and discovery.

I can't seem to select a band to tune from,
currently i am watching my 17 NTL basic channels through my DVD recorder, but obviously this is not ideal.
    any suggestions anyone?
I have had a look through the forums and found the same thing happening to someone else

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055568528

at set up, there wasn't an option to change the country of origin, and i can't find it, no matter what menu i go through, anyone else having this problem

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks a million

    :o

    you bought a UK set.

it doesnt have an analogue tuner so you'll need either NTL digital or else run your stations through a DVD (as you are now)

Cheers, thanks for that. I knew it was a uk set, just didn't know that they didn't have analogue tuners installed in them.
We are moving shortly and will be getting NTL or Sky digital when we go, so hopefully will be all sorted by then.
    thanks anyway
    :)
