TV repair shop

I have a sony 46inch TV LCD. And it sometimes works and other times does not. Just wondering if anyone firstly would know someone that would call out to do a repair ? as my TV is BIG and HEAVY.
If not does anyone know someone good that i could drop it into them and they fix it.

It cost me a little over 3k in 2007. so i do want it working again.

try ringing sony and see what route theyd recomend.
phone number should be in the documentation

maybe even drop into somewhere like sherwoods and have a word

Sony shop in waterford do not repair, they will send me down to cork as that is the local sony repair shop.

R&M have moved from Johnstown. Can't say where they moved too..

R&M have closed a year or two ago. check the phone book for a guy named Maxi Grey in alphonsus (sp) road. he's a philips repair agent but may be able to help. if not try sony on the tramore road. they have a repair man that used to work for R&M doing a few days there. his name is ollie.

can anyone recommend a tv repair man in waterford city my lcd kinda died 2nite and id prefer to have it looked at before i go out and spend a fortune on something new!

Look for Ollie's number from the sony centre on the tramore road. He does some repairs for them but doesn't actually work there. he should be able to sort you out.
