want to buy a sony laptop

Hello does any one have sugestions for good reliable website, I know komplett and elara and dabs. They are still dearer then sams yer man in belfast.

they deliver to the south for only 15 sterling. Any one know some wher to get it cheaper?

I know you said website, but if you Contact Powercity via their website and tell them DID are giving it to you for €500. They'll ring you back and match price and give you a reference number for when you go to collect it.


Ring DID with the Powercity reference number and they'll beat powercity and give it to you for €490.



You can try other prices, but those are ones that worked for me before. Alternatively, ring between the three big stores (Powercity/DID/Harvey Hemroids) and get them to keep beating each other on price. See how low you can get it.


I'm interested in the same laptop (well, kind of. Ive no use for a laptop, but want it anyway ) Best of luck.

did order from power city and they can only deliver by tuesday because I live in Leitrim, Last time I order with them. Sam is yer man could have delivered it by friday!

That teaches me to shop localy!

How much did you get it for, though?


The website you linked to seemed to be a bit more expensive. (and in fairness, surely you could have told Power City you'd need it before tuesday and cancel the order?)

yes I could have canceled but it would take a few days before money was back on the card so it would turn out the same. Sams yer man did free postage. Not a lot of the price of power city as soon as they found out I lived in Leitrim, got 20 of the price.

Ps. Have to say that powercity are very good at phoning back, 20 minutes after I put in a complaint!

For some reason it always takes 4 to 5 days to get something from dubli but only two days to get it from the UK. I really don't get that.
