Can anyone recommend some feel good movies or comedies to me? Feeling a bit down as of late and could do with some cheering up.

    I second that one.

    Some obvious ones:
    Its a wonderful life
    Spinal Tap
    The Big Lebowski

Garden State and The Blues Brothers generally always make me feel good.

And for some inexplicable reason I always find A Good Year with Russell Crowe makes me quite happy

Off the top of my head,
Stranger than Fiction & The Holiday.

Got my hands on Blazing Saddles at the weekend, an absolute classic and one of the funiest movies ever. Recommended viewing.

Two harmless films that cheer me up are:
    1. Driving Miss Daisy
    2. Joe vs. the Volcanoe (an early Tom Hanks outing)

Thanks guys, I have watched dumb and dumber recently and I can't believe I had forgotten how funny this film is. I actually watched my favourite feel good movie last night. It's remember the titans staring denzel Washington. Unbelievable film. If you havent seen it I recommend you check it out.
