    Howdy,

    I looking at buying a new Tri bike this summer and will be in the South of France in July.

    Does anybody know if theres value for money to be got in France and does anyone have any idea of any bike stores around the Nice, Cannes, Antibes area?

    Similar thread we had on here last week.

    Culture Velo is a great Bike shop in France, they have branches everywhere.

    Decathlon don't do TT bikes, but if they did they'd be the best TT bikes in teh World ... not

    Probably not as good value as you will get on wiggle/chainreactions etc. but better than Ireland. (although with the recession you might get good deals now)

    Plenty of shops around though

    You'd really want to be getting a good deal though to have to justify paying the baggage charges and then if you have any problems you are going to have major issues getting it sorted (you in Irl, shop in Fra)

    BTW All this is for road bikes, not sure about TT bikes.

    culture velo has TT bikes, they re under 'Velo route' like this one

    Surely if you can afford to holiday in the South of France then you can afford to buy in Ireland and support the local retailers?
