Small Retail business costs for business plan

    Hi,

    I've been asked to help with the set up of a small retail business launch. I'm new to retails business stuff so please guide me:)

    ongoing costs to include I can think of -

    Rent
    Electric.
    Water - ?
    Rates - or is water included?
    Insurance
    cleaning - windows etc if need be.

    got to be more - what Am I missing, its too hot for all of this today! 31 Degrees ...lol:D

    Wages
    Business rates
    Water charges
    Phones
    Motor ?
    Maintenence (fridges do break down believe me)
    Insurance (can be substantial)
    If a symbol, franchaise fees.

    I'm not being a smart ass here but why are you advising/helping them to setup if you don't know anything about it?

    Because I've ran and run several other business's but not in retail, thats all.:)
    Have you anything else to contribute HT?;)
