    I've played in a limited fashion over the span of a few years but in terms of skill I'm still a beginner.
    I'm looking for others on more or less the same level who want to play 9 holes regularly on Saturdays - Sundays.
    Based in Malahide but I drive and am happy to play anywhere around Dublin.
    There has to be other noobs looking for partners to play :P
    Only interested in relaxed and friendly / social games though.

    Hi there. I am also looking partners. Like you I also consider myself a beginner but not so bad that I would hold up play. Unfortunately I am on the southside but I've no problem venturing across the river :) There was another chap on this thread willing to meet up. Maybe we could all meet up for a game?

    Pity we didn't get out last weekend :) I think the weather is set to take a turn for the worst over the weekend.

    I really only know the courses around my area. Stepaside public course is very forgiving for the beginner. Thats a bit of a trek for you though, I'm sure there is something more central. I'll look into it at lunch time but fire away if you have any suggestions...

    How about Elm Green as a suggestion? I've never played it and know nothing about it but its central enough. Have you ever played it?

    Sorry for butting in, but i'm a member in Elmgreen lads. Sounds like a decent venue for your game. It's a public course, but it's generally kept in very good condition. Quite a short course, but also fairly tricky so a good test.
