Ticket upgrade at concert

Hey all, Just a quick question. I was at the Beyonce concert with my gf at the weekend. We had got seated tickets in April. When we went up to the door the tickets were scanned and came back negative. We were told the ticekts had been upgraded. From the box office at the O2 arena we were offered seated or standing tickets.…

Hey all,
Just a quick question. I was at the Beyonce concert with my gf at the weekend. We had got seated tickets in April. When we went up to the door the tickets were scanned and came back negative. We were told the ticekts had been upgraded. From the box office at the O2 arena we were offered seated or standing tickets. I didnt question it at the time but we took standing tickets which we were happy to get. Why would this be offered to us? I presume the seating had been over booked either intentionally or by mistake... has this happened to anyone else?

Prob somethin to do with their Premier accounts

You're guaranteed seats no matter what, or someone just changed to get their seats together
