In parts of the USA, bouncy castles are known as 'bounce houses'. Why do you think that 'bouncy castle' sounds so much more fun than 'bounce house'?

I think it's because not everyone lives in a castle.

'Bounce house' sounds like somewhere you would put people in straight jackets.

Playing on a bouncy castle in a straight jacket sounds like fun.

I am of the opinion that you do not need a special bouncy castle to make it look like you are having a kiddie disco.

Bouncy House sounds like a rave place, I don't do rave.

I suppose you could technically shorten "bounce house" to bouhouse. Not to be confused with Bauhaus.

    Or maybe not.

ROFL at chicken balls and a can of coke. Flashbacks, ftw.
