People who have regrets or feel they missed out....

Why do some people feel that they didn't do enough exciting/fun things when they were in their 20's, and now they regret it? Should we all live so that we won't feel like these people? There are people who live very ****ty lives in many other countries with a lot of suffering, so perhaps it is foolish to think that "I missed out". Maybe some people seem to be enjoying themselves a lot, but overall their lives can't be THAT good.

    Depends what your talking about?

I'd be more inclined to regret what (who) i DID do in my 20's. Although i was too pissed that entire stage of my life to remember it. I imagine it was a fun time though.........

much the same as my 30's actually

Too many fairytales at an early age and TV and films etc. compound it for people stupid enough to believe it.

If someone feels that they missed out on something, my only question is 'what exactly did you do during that time? '.

I don't regret anything I did or didn't do in my twenties.

Life doesn't end at thirty, sure we can live to 100 years old. There's plenty of time to do the things you "missed out on" later, and fix mistakes.

If you spend all your time worrying about what could have been, you're letting all the fun and oportunities pass you by.
