This Run as a C only race as in there will be no B's or A's riding... it's an evening race so would n't be more than 30 miles ....
Sure go and give it a lash .....

Biker Joe, are you doing this race or the TT?

Unfortunately I can't ride this race ... I have a 2nd cat licence ... so I might marshall the race, if they don't get the numbers ... or else I will ride the 25mie TT ... I will be riding the league race tomorrow evening .......

Good ride on Sunday ! that front group turned out to be a bit Savage !

Yeah it was a fast finish. Not sure if we were meant to push a pace like that on a lesiure tour

In two minds about what to do on Thurs. Waiting to hear what the course is gonna be for this race.

I think I heard Sam saying on Sunday that it was going to be the Garristown - Ardcath Circuit that we have been using for the league !! :D

If I were you I would ride it. Good experience and there are not many S3 only races in the season. So I be expecting you to place well ! and sit tight for a lap or so !

    Biker Joe.

But thou Im presuming its draggy, I have a league race on the same nite so Im in two minds about going or not.

Couple of drags, then a hill at the very end leading to the finish straight.

    Some course info here
Leaving Ballybougal, up the Nags head hill, take a left at the Nag's head, through Damastown (some potholes here, take care), left at the bottom of the hill, onto the road to Oldtown, take a left back towards Ballyboughal by Fingal Farm Supplies.

Not the same as the Garristown/Ardcath course.

All the names sound familiar, I'm sure I know the roads once I'm on them. Thanks for the info Raam.

Anybody know how long it will take to cycle there from city centre? I'm thinkin a easy 1hr journey, but since I don't go cycling in the northside that much I'm in two minds about the journey time.

An hours worth of easy cycling should see you there.

The route above is the same as Kieran Hammond race about a month ago. Not too draggy going up Nags head but road is atrocious going down. Get to the front if you can.

I'm hearing this route might not be final decision as it might be decided tonight after league race.

Won by Mick McCarthy from Swords cc. He broke clear on the 3rd lap and had good winning margin.
