    Anyone any idea why they only allowing viewing of programs for 3 weeks? It would be a way more useful service if they left up all the programs indefinitely and stuck a few ads on it, they would make quite a bit on it.

    Bandwidth or rights would be my guess.

    Any idea are RTE planning on upping the resolution / bit rate ?

    Its fine for most programmes but is shown up badly with live sport.

    Email them and ask. I emailed them with some queries using onlineproduction@rte.ie and received answers.

    I find being polite in an email always seems to elicit an answer.
