    Hi

Anyone ever used, or heard of http://www.profirad.de/?

They've got a bike I'm interested in but they haven't answered any emails I've sent, they also don't like answering the phone.

I've found a few references to them on Google, a few guys bought tyres and small parts from them, they seemed fairly satisfied.

I'm hesitant to hand over credit card details to a store that won't communicate with me when I've got money for them, what would they be like with after sales support.

    Thanks

use the Paypal option, it's as safe as it gets

I used them before but only for bottle cages - they gave a good service with e-mail updates of the order progress.

    Hi

    Thanks for your help.
I've managed to get an email reply but they haven't provided a tel. number I can reach them on. They do seem to be above board but I wouldn't have any faith in after sales support if this is how responsive they are when I've got a grand for them.

    Thanks again

you actually have more protection on your order with a direct credit card payment than with paypal. Visa and mastercard give purchase protection insurance as standard. if you pay by paypal then the only thing that's protected is the purchase of the paypal service and not the item you are buying.
