    Man I was at both of those, back when that festival used to kick ass, easily the best two years of its' run, it's fecking awful now imo

    I remember in its first year they gave just about everyone who signed up to the mailing list VIP passes which included free Guinness and access to acoustic sets all day long.

    What was it about Witnness that used to be brilliant but not quite the same when the name changed?

    Beck in the very first year was one of the best performances by anyone I've ever seen. Just a pure thrill, great music and entertainment. He's not been the same since but he's still always great to see live.

    I used to love Witnness, I guess the name change just kinda coincided with everything else changing too.
