WIN 7 + Stereo sound

This is driving me nuts ... I have my amp hooked upto the HTPC via toslink, the amp is seeing the signal as being DTS / DD etc, but is only seeing 2 channels : left and right. How in Win 7 do you select the speaker out ? I have been all over the sound control panel and dont see anything that looks like a speaker setup.

sorted - the input I was using in the Amp was set to 2 channel
